Ok, since there is no user manual for SCAN XL, I am posting these questions.

I recently purchased SCAN XL Standard because I need to time my wife's suburban. I purchased SCAN XL Standard with the GM add-on pack. Downloaded it and opened it. Started looking around, couldn't find where to go, came to this board, found some instructions on PID's, found them on my computer. Issue is when I found them, they had a red X by them instead of the green check mark like the other PID's I have. This must be an issue I guess. So my question is, does SCAN XL Standard let me do the timing by looking at the cam retard correlation data? And, do I have to do something to the GM add-on PID's to make them active? New to the program so, I really don't know what I'm doing yet. Thanks.
