I see on the demo video you are now using a tabbed interface with DashCommand, but don't see where in the tutorial how to do that.  Anyone?

That is from our new version of DashCommand, which will be released soon. There will be a skin editor available to help you design the dashboards.

Could you define soon? I ask as show season has started up and this is something I'd like to showcase in my truck.

I'm keen to find this out too. Any news on DashCommand release since the others have had a release. The 'change on the fly' buttons will be the icing on the cake!

Thanks guys,
Dave

Here is a demo video for DashCommand from the SEMA show. You will need Flash Player 10.

Here is another showing the same button functionality using the iPhone, also from SEMA.

And these were posted 7 months ago.  Any news on a release date.  It has been at least 10 months now since the first news of tabbed interface were mentioned.  Great software does no good, if it isnt in our hands to use.

Any more info when soon is?

I'm keen to try the tabbed interface and exit button.

Soon is last Friday for iPhone. DashCommand for iPhone has been released and it does have the tabbed interface functionality. You cannot use your own dashboards yet, you must use the 4 that are pre-loaded, but the Skin Editor for it (The part that has the tabbing/buttons) should be released very soon.

There are plans for a Windows release. We are still working on DashCommand for PC, but are trying to get it out as soon as possible.

Translation: iPhone has a larger install base than CarPC's and can generate more revenue by getting that out first.

Any release date, even an approximate one, for the Dashcommand PC version, please.......?
