Power and Torque values DO NOT SHOW when choosing DIESEL as the engine type....

My car is a diesel and when I set up my car, Power and Torque values do not show if I choose the engine type as DIESEL, however if I choose GASOLINE then Power and Torque values start showing and read.

Do you know why ? Is this a bug ?

It sounds like one of the PIDs required to calculate mpg and hp/tq for diesels in not supported by your vehicle, there will probably be a message in the Console telling you which PID is missing. You can try doing an aggressive PID validation by long-holding the Validate PIDs button in the Vehicle Manager, but if that doesn't get the data there isn't much you can do.

Also, I'm using the metric system rather than the American system.

Could this also be a factor ?

Thanks
