The newest version of XL-Pro comes packaged as an exe with no readme before extraction. If I am going from ScanXL Elmscan 2.0.11 (1194) to ScanXL Pro, should I do an uninstall (on Vista) with Windows first or just let the installer run? I have no files or configs worth saving from my current install.

TIA

ScanXL Pro won't actually remove ScanXL ElmScan, because they are really different software packages. You could install Pro, and test that it is working, before you uninstall ElmScan. Or you could have them both installed if you felt like it.

Thanks...I guess I forgot to get notification of replies!

I wish I would have upgraded builds since I originally installed--I have much better luck with connecting now. Thanks for continuing to support your product...added the Ford enhanced about a 3 weeks ago and tacked on GM enhanced a week ago  Grin
