How can I remove the default air / pressure gauge to read the AMPS put out instead? I'm new to this meaning editing any gauges. I did a search first on this topic but I had no luck.

Thanks in advance.....

Hi Jerry,

You can edit a gauge to show other values. You need a separate tool, the SkinXL editor, which can be downloaded from http://www.palmerperformance.com/downloads.php. There's a learning curve to this and our documentation on the subject is a little weak so proceed with an open mind and some patience.

The general idea is to find the objects that make up the gauge and change their properties to suit your needs. One of the objects will be a Needle which uses SAE.MAP (manifold absolute pressure) [I believe that's the guage you are referring to]. Change the PID propery (SAE.MAP) to the PID you want to display. You'll also need to range. You may need to change other objects too like the tick marks and labels.

Once you've edited your skin/dashboard you load it up in DashCommand (Settins > Dash XL ).

Cheers,
Pierre.
