Hello,

I would like to know how I have to make a button on my custom dashxl that reset the memory of the CALC.FC.AVERAGE.

My intention is that each time you fill your gas desposit able to reset the average fuel consumption, so you always know the average consumption of the current deposit.

Regards,
Mike.

I usually learn this type of thing by looking at other skins.  The default skin now distributed with DC has several screens for gas mileage, for current trip last trip, last fill up, today, yesterday, etc.

You get the scripts, and button and labelling info you need, without having to ask and wait for answers on the forum.

I downloaded this skin and I have edited it with skinxl editor, but I don't found this button, for that reason I have done the question in the forum.

Regards,
Mike.

In the Tuxedo skins, if you hit the Fuel Economy button on the side a second time, a list of buttons should appear. One looks like a swirling arrow, and is the reset button. If you copied the functionality from that object into your own skin set, you should be able to reset the average fuel economy.

If you still can't figure it out let me know, and I'll make a small skin with just 1 button to show you how to do it.

Hello Weston,

I have looked in the tuxedo skin with skinxl editor, but I didn't found this buttom. I can see the buttom when I touch two times the buttom inside dashcommand, but in the skin editor I don't found it.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Regards,
Mike.

The button is in the foreground layer of the Tuxedo skins, I was actually expecting it to be in the Fuel Economy dashboard.

Anyway, here is a simply skin that shows your avg MPG and gives a reset button. Do post up your finished skin set, I'd like to see. Smiley
