Was very surprised to see ScanXL Pro graphing a wideband sensor in the range -/+128 mA on a BMW 318 and showing a switching characteristic. Weston diagnosed a possible data overflow in the ECU or a possible sensor problem. However, I loaded PCMSCAN 2.2.1 and the sensor was reported correctly.  PCMSCAN also worked on other cars with wideband sensors. There clearly is a problem here that is about as fundamental as it gets in OBD analyses.
The really frustrating aspect is that PPE have gone to ground and and are not responding to messages although data logs have been sent to them. The system of filtering and ultimately closing email threads is perilously close to being offensive to the user base who ultimately are part of the product debugging process.
This is from a long-term supporter of PPE who is looking for an improved interface and not just from an irritated passing contributor

furlongba,

I have responded to your emails about this. Sorry for the slow response -- we are not ignoring you, we were just a little behind.

Weston. have received your message and have forwarded the details requested. Hopefully it will turn out to be an installation glitch at my end. Car, computer, interface identical for both.
Appreciate your other committments and thanks for putting up with the hissy-fit.
