Why do you say this? I have personally tested PCMSCAN with a mobydic interface and I do not experience any problems.

I believe that Digimoto got a shipment of faulty mobydic units a few weeks back, and I think that is causing some confusion. As far as I know, they have replaced them or are replacing them and the people I have talked to that got their replacement units don't have the problems anymore.

I can now get it to connect to a vehicle 2002 grand am, but all it will do is scan for trouble codes. it wont detect vin #, wont detect onboard modules and it will not validate any pid's during the pid scan routine.  none of the dashboard modules will work either which i guess cause it wont detect any pid's during scan.. any help would be very appreciated..
