Hi,

I have not done any Java programming, but i do programming in c, so please correct me if i am wrong.
I have thought of some ideas but i do not know what are the limitations of Java and PCMScan.

Can i write a script to read vehicle data from the ECU, and save a log file in any format that i want?

Or can i write a script to send data continuously over a serial port or ethernet port?

And what is the version of Java does PCMScan uses?

Our script API uses Javascript, not Java.

Unfortunately, you cannot write to files or serial or ethernet ports from scripts.
