I am not really sure. I have been digging so hard for so long, that it could have been just about anywhere.

Found it while searching for Scantool.net software alternatives on their forums...
I was tired of their "Not Yet Implemented" menus after wainting almost 2 years for version 2.0.

Same here: From the scantools.net site. As I was satisfied with their free software (not high grade), I looked and found your's.

I really don't remember. I think I was doing a seach for OBD II software using Corpernic Agent when it came up. I had tried Scantool.nets software as that's where I found my scantool but their program still isn't complete. I tried Digimoto's and Wobd II I wasn't satisfied with any. All would let you read the codes and clear them out but none would allow you to monitor then play back.
I was looking for affordable software that would let me monitor and play back at a later date so I could see if there was a way to spot potential problems before they become full blown. For example right now I have a code 0400 on a 1995 Maxima. I have removed the components and completely cleane them. I ordered 4 gaskets last week and was just able to pick them up yesterday aftenoon so today I'lll put it all back together and see if the code is cleared up and stay that way. As stopped up as the tubes were there should be a way to spot this before they completely stop up. This would allow you to run a can of "Deep Creep" by Sea Foam thru the system and clean it without having to physically remove and go thru the stuff I did to clean them up. Four gaskets cost $21 bucks. Plus since I live in a remote area where there is no dealer within 30 miles and even they don't stock everything, We have been without the car for a little over a week. Also had to drain the Antifreeze at almost $9 bucks a gallon, in order to remove the throttle body. A can of Sea Foam cost around $8.00. Would be a great cost savings to spot this problem ahead of time.
I just need to learn what I am looking at and how to interrpet it correctly.,

I started by checking out OBDII code readers, and moved on to more comprehensive diagnostic software. The next google hit turned up Digimoto. I checked them out and was turned off to the fact that many complaints were registered about their slow shipping and response time. I wrote them an email, to which they never responded.
I then looked at Scantool and ELMscan. It was the same device, absent the Digimoto software. From there, I ordered the hardware, took a look at their software and checked out the options.
I came to PCMSCAN from the Scantool website.
I liked the manner in which the site was set up and the responsiveness of Brian and desire to make a good product. It seems to have great potential.

Well, I've been looking for a good software for a long time. I originally was going to build my own hardware, but found it was probably cheaper in the longrun to just purchase it. So i did and have been looking for a good software ever since. I think I've found the best, and time will tell. I've done a lot of searches about the ins and outs of OBDII. Have been studying about sensors and everything I can learn about OBDII. Somewhere in all this searching, I came accross this website, and the program really looked great. It appears to have all the bells and whistles I've been looking for. I'm Hooked !

Found PCMScan when going through the user forum at Scantool.net. After ordering the Elmscan 320, soon found Sacntool software very limiting. Currently using ODB2Crazy software which is working fine but would prefer to look at graphs real time versus having to save a data file and then load into Excel to graph. If anyone has any ideas around troubleshooting P0172, P0175 codes on a 99 Windstar could use a few pointers. Went through the P0171 and P0174 issues a few years back while still under warranty and talked the dealer into covering it but haven't found too much info about Ford's running rich.
