Poll: How did you find out about PCMSCAN?

I found it on the web searching for a better tool than the freeware as i feel is lacking when it comes to logging of PIDs
But still I am wery much missing MAP on my Volvo V70 2001....

I found it on the drewtech web site, and they recommended it with the purchase of a CarDAQ+

Google seaching for ODB-II scanner.  I found Autotap and PCMSCAN, it was a toss up until I found this forum and decided that an active forum was a much better support plan, so I selected PCMSCAN.  ;-)

I followed a link from Digimoto's site.  After I saw the playback feature and the color coded LT/ST fuel trim grid, I was sold.

I've got just a code reader at home and wanted more for diagnostics other than which sensor is causing the problem; for example "Random Misfire Code" very troubling to diagnose.  It's one of those hand-held jobs from the hardware store.

Googled this site and downloaded the trial version and I really liked the features that are included in the package. 

My predicament is I have a $150 code reader at home that does very little for me.  Should have done my research much earlier and spent my money more wisely...

I was searching online for GM diagnostic code readers/software, and drew tech was one of the results.

I found out from my brothers-roommate's-cousin's-boyfriend's-sister's-uncle's-mechanic's-son. Well, actually not really...I came here from Scantool.net. But! I did stay at a HolidayIn Express two years ago...

One quick question though? Is ScanXL (from the pictures at scantool.net they look to be the same software with a different name) the same thing as PCMScan?

I had AutoTap and was not satisfied with it, and the support for it was crappy.  So I started searching for software that would support the AutoTap interface and found a review of PCMSCAN in a tech review.  Tried the demo, liked the flexibility, and bought it.
