The ElmScan 5 compact should work with any of our Windows software. ScanXL, PCMSCAN, and DashCommand should all work fine.

I've connected with no issues to these vehicles using an OBDLink:
1998 Chevrolet Camaro 3.8L
1997 Chevrolet Camaro 5.7L
1999 Chevrolet Camaro 5.7L
2001 Chevrolet Camaro 5.7L
2004 Chevrolet Cavalier 2.2L
2004 Chevrolet Classic 2.2L
2001 Ford Explorer Sport 4.0L
2007 GMC Yukon 6.2L
2011/2012 Dodge Ram 3500 Diesel
2003 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.8L Supercharged
2005 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L
2004 Pontiac Grand Am 3.4L
2012 Chevrolet Cruze 1.6L Turbocharged
2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer 4.2L
2002 Chevrolet Corvette 5.7L

I've also connected to countless others that I don't know, or can't remember, the year and engine details. I've connected to BMWs, Mazdas, Nissans, Subarus, Volvos, and just about everything else. Any OBD-II compliant vehicle should work just fine.
