HELLO.
I JUST BOUGHT DASHCOMAND APP FOR MY IPHONE. ALSO GOT FROM EBAY A WIFI OTHER THAN KIWI OR INNOVATE TECH. ONLY REFERENCE I HAVE IS K-400. LIGTH TURNS GREEN AND BLINK WHEN WIFI TRY TO CONNECT.
WHEN INSTALLED WIFI IN CAR AND TRY TO PAIRED WITH IPHONE AND AN ERROR MESSAGE IN SCREEN SAY NO OBD2 INTERFACE FOUND.
IS THERE ANY WAY TO SOLVE THIS?

I ALSO NOTICE THAT WHEN TRY TO GET SETTINGS IN DASHCOMMAND ANOTHER MESSAGE SAY PARKING BRAKE OR COMPLETELY STOP CAR IS NEEDED FOR ACCESS SETTING. THE THING IS I WAS SITTING IN MY KITCHEN AND HAVE TO RESTART IPHONE TO ERRASE STUCK MESSAGE AND GET SETTING AGAIN.
I KNOW YOU GUYS HAVE SOLUTION FOR THIS COUPLE OF SMALL ISUES

THANK YOU

The parking brake message should only be shown if you are connected to a Pioneer App Radio. Do you have one of those? Or is your phone plugged into any other accessory?

What version of DashCommand are you running?

Can you please provide a link to the Ebay page of the product you purchased?

The quick start guide has some suggestions, but some of the EBay products also need a static IP address. You could try to mimick the static IP settings for the PLX wifi devices, but if it is an unknown hardware then it might have different settings.

This is on the EBAY page:

IP: 192.168.0.10
Subnet: 255.255.255.0

So you will need to configure your iPhone WIFI with those parameters before starting DashCommand.

I think I;m doing something wrong, because iphone does not keep the parameters of the k400 WiFi. or even reset all and put it blank again or another parameters are showing.
also trying in DC setting input IP and port because I read port is 35000 in k400 WiFi but doesn't work.

at this point I think my easy way is purchase kiwi WiFi and get rid of this Chinese one

I am not sure the KIWI wifi would help you out. It also requires the same parameters as the other. Some of the other manufacturers we support don't require configuring the IP address.

In the DashCommand settings, the dataport should be set to Elm32 and AUTO. Those are the default settings and you should not need to change them.

Have you looked at our WIFI setup guide? http://www.palmerperformance.com/download/docs/DashCommand_WiFi_Setup_Guide.pdf

FINALLY I FIGURE OUT WHAT HAPPENED.
THANK YOU FOR THE GUIDE THAT YOU SENT ME, THAT HELPS A LOT.
THE IP CODES THAT MANUFACTURER WROTE ARE WRONG. THE IP DOES NOT END IN .10 BUT IN .11 JUST LIKE KIWI
AND ALSO I FILLED THE ROUTER SPACE ENDING IN .10 EXACTLY CONFIG AS KIWI

NOW I HAVE TO PLAY WITH DC TO GET FAMILIARIZED WITH SCREENS, DISPLAY GAUGES (IF CAPABLE), ETC

THANK YOU AGAIN

on what depends the accuracy of the read outs?
my question is because I have a delay of at least 2 seconds. So it depends of the OBD2 WiFi or the phone data?
Is there any dash with ambient temperature?

thank you

Check the troubleshooting guide: http://www.palmerperformance.com/download/docs/DashCommand_Troubleshooting_Guide.pdf

It has a section on performance issues which might give you some insights.

To find a dashboard with ambient temperature try visiting http://www.dashxl.net and search for "ambient" in the keywords.
