I have recently purchased this app. I own a Grande Punto Abarth

When viewing trip information the app does not provide proper information about the gear selection I am using. I seem to spend 98.9% of my time driving in neutral? Obviously not correct.

I have entered most of the parameters for the vehicle. As far as I can tell most entries are correct. I am unsure whether I have entered the final drive ratios correctly. 15.94;9.01;6.16;4.45;3.65;3.11 do these values seem correct? I am also unsure what values I should enter for Maximum, Minimum engine speed and Shift point. (See attached Files)

I suppose if these values are incorrect they might affect the gear Information?

Can anybody offer any advice.

Cheers, Col

Your values are not very different of mine. What i have noticed is that the program indicates that I drive 45% of time in wrong gear! What to do to correct that?

For max engine speed enter your redline, for min enter your idle RPM.  I left shift point blank. Mine is correct. Also I see your wheel circumference is set at 17, that's wrong. 17 is diameter, circumference is 17x Pie (3.14). This is probably why your off. Just leave it blank since you have your tire size entered. The gear is given based on RPM, Speed, and wheel circumference, if it's blank it looks at tire size and calculates it for you. So add your redline & idle RPM and leave circumference blank. This should fix it.

Devildog is 99% correct.  The "Wheel circumference" should read "Overall tire circumference".  So it is the circumference of the tire, not wheel.  That is a correction we need to make in the wording of the program.  You can actually just leave that blank and it will determine circumference from the tire size entered.  The circumference was added if you wanted even more accuracy, you could measure a roll out of the tire and input that value.
