i have a tactrix openport 2.0 cable and an 04 wrx. the ignition is in the 'on' position w/o the engine spinning. the software is the latest demo, and i get an error 104. and the tactrix cable was able to read my ecu ROM. i've tried it with both the jumper block on/off with same results. thanks for the help

We are looking at this problem and trying to figure out why it isn't working.

Does it work when the engine is running?

nope, i get the same error message. basically, it works with ecuflash just fine, but unfortunately not with pcmscan.

I've had a talk with Colby @ Tactrix about this problem and I think he's got it resolved. Can you email support@palmerperformance.com so we can send you some updated OpenPort J2534 drivers to try out?

i have the same problem with my 2007 daihatsu sirion/toyota passo/perodua myvi
tested on Nissan Sunny 2006 as well.
it detects ELMscan on Com 4
then after a while after detecting it.
it shows Error 104

Are you sure these vehicles are OBD-II/EOBD compliant? Can you send us a techlog of this problem (on level 9)?

It looks like you aren't running the latest version of the software. Can you please try this with the latest software build?
