Just installed this latest version onto a new laptop.
When ever I go into Settings->Unit and Formats and I update them to metric they do not save....

I can upload the data from dashcommand which is Metric, the Settings->Pids are all metric.

But the dashboards and the unit format settings are all still stupid imperial and not metric.

My old PC with the prev version allowed me to save the unit format changes.
When I play back the log files on the new laptop, the dashboards show imperial but on the old PC the same log files show the correct metric figures.

Both are running Win 7 64 bit.

The documentaion is still very crap and having to wait ages for responses in the forum is very inefficient and time wasting for such critical matters.

How do you save these changes?HuhHuh

We have a bug in DashCommand right now that the unit format settings cannot be saved. The same bug must be in ScanXL although personally I do not deal with ScanXL. We're planning to release DashCommand pretty quick, as soon as we can work all the kinks out of the new features we are adding in.

I'll send a note to our team that ScanXL needs to be fixed as well.

Thanks, I am surprised than the MORE expensive product ScanXL Pro seems to get very little attention from the developers.

I didn't say that. What I did say was that I am not one of the people who works with the ScanXL product. We do have other people who work on it.

Also I have been told that we will be releasing a new version of ScanXL soon with this bug fixed.

I know you did not say that, I said that based on the fact that updates are very rare and documentation is even rarer.
