does scanxl support abs on an 01 ss camaro, vin #2G1FP22G012102533?  based on my research and another competitors website, it appears that abs with tcs is supported for that vehicle.  however, when i load up scanxl pro the abs stuff does NOT show up, even tho i have the gm enhanced addon?

WHY?

can i get to it thru the console?

if not, how do i apply for a refund?

I've checked our database, and it looks like we missed adding the ABS to the 2001 Camaro. You should be able to connect as either a 2000 or a 2002, and it should work just fine.

I'll get this fixed in our database for the next update.

ok - update

i switched to the 02 camaro and the abs system DID show up.  however, a couple problems arose.  the LF and RR wheel speed pids showed up as supported pids.  however, the RF and LR wheel speed pids showed up as not supported (red X).  this isn't right.  what do i need to do the get the other two wheel speed sensors to be activated?  i did the aggressive scan several times.

logging the two valid pids for wheel speed worked so very happy about that.  just need to get the other two working asap.

let me know asap.

According to our database, all 4 wheel speed sensors are supported by your vehicle. Try doing an aggressive PID validation and see if that pulls up any extra wheel speed PIDs, the validation button is near the top of the PID Config.

If you look two posts above yours you will see that I have done the aggressive pid validation more than once with no luck.   Can I send you some kind of diagnostic log?

Yes you can, which is the next step.

Restart ScanXL, and then go to the Help menu > Debug Options, and set Debug Level 9. Now do an aggressive PID validation. After that finishes, go back to Debug Options and select Save Tech Log. You can attach it to your next post and I'll take a look.

In the meantime, I will go test this on my '99 Camaro SS and see what wheel sensors I can get.

After a PID validation, my Camaro showed all 4 wheel speed sensors, and one of them twice (which we will look into why it was in there twice).

Try increasing your OBD-II timeout in the Settings tab > OBD-II Settings, and then do an aggressive validation again and see if you get any more PIDs. Or if you can get a tech log of a PID validation, I'd be glad to look through it for you.

here are two log files.  the first is at a timeout of 200 mSec and the second is at a timeout of 500 mSecs.

again.  the sensor pids show up (some more than once!) but only 2 of the 4 are green and the other 2 are red.
