im refering to connectivity.. and always having it on, i want this for constant monitoring on the car.. a 2010 nissan maxima.. any inputt?
Also... since im going to be leave this in the car 100% of the time.. does it turn off by itself once the car is off?

I don't know which is better. I would guess that they would be work well. I guess you're mainly looking at do you prefer wifi or bluetooth?
The device doesn't entirely turn off when the car is off. But it doesn't broadcast obdii data at that point. I don't know what the devices do at that point, and I assume they're not using much energy.

The GoPoint interface all go into a sleep mode when the engine RPM is 0, they should have no problem staying in the car full-time. I'm not aware of any power saving features on the Kiwi WiFi, but I have left one in my car for up to 2 weeks at a time with no issues. The OBDLink also has a power saving mode, although I'm not 100% certain of the criteria to activate it. I leave an OBDLink MX in my car full-time, including over my last vacation (where the car wasn't driven), and I didn't have any problems.
If you drive the car at least twice a week, I don't think leaving an OBD-II interface in there will be a problem.
Connectivity should be good with any of them, however the WiFi interfaces tend to take a little bit longer to get connected initially. This is because iOS has to wait for the IP request to timeout before it can join the network, which usually takes 30-60 seconds.

I have got a Gopoint BT1 and it remains always plugged on the car without any problems.

so far the BT1 is a go then.. no issues with it.. realtime data streaming is good and minimal lag?

Yes, with my Iphone 4S, BT1 and DC, I don't have lags.
