If i were to buy ScanXL for $99.95.....and later down the road I want to add the Ford Enhanced Diagnostics would I only have to pay the additional $100?

Yes, you would only have to pay for the Ford Enhanced Add-on, you would not have to pay for the ScanXL software again. However, at the time of this writing, the Ford Enhanced Add-on is $199.

Just clarification...

I buy ScanXL for  $99.95, then I want to add the Ford Diagnostics piece.  This will cost an additional $199, bringing the total to $298.95?

$199 just seems aweful expensive for the add-on alone.   I was hoping the $199 covered both.

You will need an extra add-on module for each manufacturer. Since each manufacturer uses their own proprietary methods for diagnostics on these systems it cannot be a generic software package.

Guilo

I see you read the feature comparison sheet and thought that ScanXL included all the ford stuff.
