Dear John,
dear Weston,

three desired improvements:

1. I would be grateful if you will find a way to export log-files from iPhone / iPad to PC without sending an Email. Some log-files are to big to send them.

2. The Background of the "gauges" ist white with logos, a black Version would be very fine.

3. The Digital LCD PID seems not to show the maximal value when chosen, they show the current value.

What do you think of my wishes?

Best regards
Bernd

Those are improvements we have in mind, but can't say for sure when we will have them. #3 is actually a bug that I didn't know about, so we will put a fix for that. Might not make the next release though.

John, I'd like to also suggest adding the ability to move gauges from page to another.

Hi there,  not a functional issue but just one of a display nature. I have a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder. Upon setting up a new vehicle the year list only goes to 2013.

The latest update has year going up to 2014. We don't have the PathFinder in our database, but DashCommand will work fine with your vehicle no matter what you enter there.

I know the software will work with or without the vehicle description. I just tried again and no 2014 menu choice. I am running Dashcommand v4.1.0 Build 4025 on my Iphone 5. No updates are available from the AppStore so I assume I'm on the latest version. Like I said earlier, no real issue for me, its just an aesthetic thing.

For some reason I thought you were on Android. The iPhone version is still under review by Apple and should be released shortly.

Dear  John, Cody, Weston,

If in the next update it will be possible to:
1. Activate custom sounds (for warnings)
2. Design custom graphs with skinXL
3. Have custom background for gauge mode
4. Have dashcommand run in the background (like waze) so it wont loose connection every time i switch to other progarms

Then your software will be pure awesomeness in the market!

custom backgrounds are in the upcoming version.
Running DashCommand in the background is unfortunately just not possible, as iOS doesn't allow us to send information to the adapter while we are in the background.

Your other two ideas would be good. They are on our list of possible features.

Background refresh is possible with Bluetooth. OBD Fusion using GoPoint BT runs in the background without losing a beat. Another reason to incorporate the Bluetooth API.
