When i go to add new veh it only shows ford?

okay got by that. Now i got the cd and installed it on my laptop top and i get a 109 error. the cd is scanxl

Can you send me a techlog (on level 9) of the connection problem you are seeing?

Also, what kind of hardware interface do you have (RS232, USB, Bluetooth)?

Its usb. Im not sure how to run the level 9?

All it says is elm 327 but i got it from here http://www.mechanicdoctor.com/computer.htm

ScanXL™ ElmScan v2.0.0 (Build 709)
Does not work with ELM327 ver 1.2a ... it only works with ELMScan5 scan tool.

Try using ScanXL™ ELM v2.0.6 (Build 840)

Let me the results.
