Sure. We can figure this out.

Let's keep it simple by focusing on a single gauge. What PID is that gauge showing? Is the proper vehicle still selected? Does the PID still show as supported (green) in the PID list?

yes the selected pids are showing.  I have validated all pids.  I have even purchased the ford 2005 pkg.  however, the pids I purchased are still showing as locked.  Can I get the software prior to the update??  This is very frustrating.  Dash Command is not even filling in the VIN automatically

You might have become logged out of DashCommand. In such case, the PIDs you purchased would be locked again. To unlock them, simply log back in using your DashCommand username and password.

Can you please post a tech log following the instrucions here: http://www.palmerperformance.com/forum/index.php?topic=4665.0

After enabling debug mode, connect to the vehicle and go into the gauges screen. Verify that EOT and ECT are not working. Then email the tech log to yourself.

Instead of sending the tech log to our support, attach it to the forum thread here and I will take a look.

Can you also please attach the tech log itself to this thread? It has additional information, beyond what the console shows.

This is actually a data log. I need to see the tech log.

The data log shows that you are getting data, but it does not show that you are getting EOT nor ECT. So either you do not have those PIDs selected on the gauges screen that you are logging, or else the vehicle is not reporting those PIDs.

To submit a tech log, please follow the instructions here:  http://www.palmerperformance.com/forum/index.php?topic=4665.0

If it is easier, just email it to our support and post back here when you have sent it.

According to your techlog, SAE.ECT is supported, but SAE.EOT is not supported.

Was SAE.EOT supported before this update? I do not believe anything about that PID has changed. So if it was supported before, we'll need to figure out why your vehicle is no longer supporting that PID.

In such case, what OBD-II device are you using? Is it an ELM327, GoPoint or OBDLink?

Instead of using the gauges screen, can you please add SAE.ECT to the Data Grid and see whether that is providing any data? You will of course have to be connected to the vehicle before it will show any data.

I had EOT and ECT prior to update. I am using the OBDlink WiFi I just received.  It was working perfect!!!!  I even bought the ford pids for $9.95.

Okay. Maybe we are talking about a different PID.

I see that SAE.EOT is not supported, but FORD.ENGINE.EOT is supported. So in this case, we refer to your earlier comment that the PIDs are locked even though you purchased them.

Can you please go to the Account->Purchase page, and check the Ford package that you purchased. Is there a green checkmark next to it?

I don't show any purchases on that account. I think what must happened is that you created 2 DashCommand accounts, and made the purchase on the other account.

Please note that your iTunes account already purchased this once, so it doesn't want to sell it to you again.

Do you know of any other DashCommand accounts that you created? Or what other emails might you have used? Or do you have an iTunes receipt with the order number?

Okay. I think I found it. The account username is antiqueflooring@gmail.com. And the email is antiquefloorman@gmail.com ?

This is similar to the other email you posted, so it is probably yours. Just log into that account and you should be good.

I think you probably have a typo in your username.

Can you please screenshot the first Account screen? This will say, "Logged in as: antiqueflooring@gmail.com"

For range to empty your vehicle will need to report either SAE.FLI or FORD.ENGINE.FLI.

For EGT you do not need a separate module, but if your vehicle does not report it then DashCommand cannot show it.
