Just purchased ScanXL standard with the GM add-on to pull codes for a Service Air Bag Light on a 2008 Cadillac Escalade EXT.

While connecting, I see 4 On Board Modules as follows:
  $7E8 - Engine Control Module
  $7AE - Transmission Control Module
  $643 - Anti Lock Brake/Traction Control Module
  $7EB - Unknown Module

Options for Diagnostic System are as follows:
  Engine Control Module
  Transmission Control Module
  Anti Lock Brake/Traction Control Module
  Restraints Control Module
  Generic ODB-II

I am assuming that the Unknown Module is the Restraints Control Module. I can connect with all options except for the Restraints Control Module.  Here is the output I see when selecting the Restraints Control Module:
[20:30:20.936] Opening OBD-II Connection...
[20:30:20.936] Searching for ELM interface...
[20:30:20.938] Checking COM3...
[20:30:22.613] Found ELM interface on COM3!
[20:30:22.889] Failed to open OBD-II connection! Error 104: Error detecting OBD-II protocol.

Has anyone else seen the $7EB - Unknown Module or know what it means?
Any ideas how to resolve this so I can get some data to troubleshoot the "Service Air Bag" light?

Thanks!
